SOMERSET, N.J., and MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - Dec. 16, 2003 - Netilla© Networks, Inc., a leading provider of SSL VPN and secure application access management solutions, today announced that it has entered a technology partnership with Twingo Systems, Inc., a leading provider of secure desktop solutions for untrusted computers - airport computer kiosks, cybercafe computers, and employee-owned computers. The two companies will develop and deliver enterprise endpoint security solutions for secure access and protection from any untrusted computer.
Twingo plans to become a member of the Netilla dynaTRUST Alliance partner program, which will certify interoperability between both companies' products.
By ensuring that Netilla solutions interoperate with Twingo's software, joint customers gain the benefit of knowing that their sensitive information is either stored in a secure vault or destroyed after a remote access session has ended -- from any end-point computer.
"As a leader in the SSL VPN market, we are always attracted to technologies that complement and round out our enterprise security offerings," said Bryan Bain, vice president of marketing and corporate development at Netilla. "Twingo has developed an impressively effective solution for protecting the enterprise network from authorized remote users logging in on untrusted computers, and our customers will greatly benefit from our combined solution."
A "Must Have" Solution for the Corporate Network
Using Twingo software, any third-party computer can be safely employed to access the company network, while the danger of leaving any data behind after the session ends is eliminated. Twingo enables users to customize their temporary session and work in a known environment by restoring their settings and data files. This allows for a greater level of productivity and security.
The technology partnership will ensure that Twingo's software is interoperable with the Netilla Security Platform, which provides secure, clientless SSL VPN access to files, Web, legacy and client/server applications. By combining their solutions, organizations will be able to can confidently deliver secure clientless VPN access to any network resource from anywhere, while protecting untrusted end-points.
The Netilla Security Platform enables companies to securely extend their enterprise networks to any authorized user via standard Web browsers. The Netilla Security Platform combines three secure application access modes: browser-based access to client-server applications (Windows, UNIX, Linux or mainframe), Web-based and Intranet applications, and network-layer access via the Netilla Virtual Adapter that allows PC-based applications to exchange data with central servers through an SSL tunnel. Netilla's patent-pending dynaTRUST operating system enforces enterprise security policies and provisions trust-based access to network resources on the basis of four key variables: identity, entitlements, environment and client integrity.
The Netilla/Twingo announcement marks the latest partnership agreement for Twingo Systems, which has recently seen great interest among businesses for security solutions that protect against untrusted computers.
"As the mobile workforce continues to access sensitive corporate data via untrusted computers, the need for end-point security is becoming more and more apparent," said Reza Malekzadeh, president and co-founder of Twingo Systems. "This new partnership with Netilla will help us continue making inroads into the enterprise market, and solidify the Twingo Secure Desktop as a must-have solution for the corporate network."
