SOMERSET, N.J., June 19, 2002
Netilla Networks, Inc., (www.netilla.com), the networking services company
that supplies secure remote access to applications, files and data over
the Internet, announced today at the Ethic2002 conference in Washington
DC that Devon Health Services, a multi-state PPO serving 135,000 physicians
and 675 hospitals, has deployed the Netilla Security Platform for secure,
HIPAA-compliant remote access to centralized patient information.
With the Netilla solution, Devon Health now has secure remote access
to TriZetto® RIMS, an e-health enterprise benefits administrator
tool. Because the Netilla platform is accessed through any Web browser
and requires no configuration of the remote site, Devon Health customers
and extranet partners have immediate, secure access to centralized patient
information, allowing them to better manage costs and track employee
benefits.
Netilla's browser-based, client-less deployment was a perfect fit for
the PPO. "With the Netilla Security Platform, our customers and
partners have secure, real time access to benefits information, from
any location, allowing them to more easily manage their administration
with significant time and cost savings," said Ningjun Liu, CIO
of Devon Health Services.
"The Netilla Security Platform, which requires no IT maintenance
at the remote site, delivers an easy to maintain, cost-effective and
secure solution, with a surprisingly fast ROI," said Charlie Falcone,
Devon Health COO.
Devon IT, a leading Managed Service Provider of VPN services with a
specialty in the healthcare industry, and a recently named Netilla Certified
Solution Provider, recognized the Netilla solution as a way to more
effectively manage Devon Health's constantly expanding network of providers,
payers, and members.
"The Netilla platform was ideal for Devon Health's remote access
needs," said Lou Molettiere, President and CEO of Devon IT. "The
solution provides fast, secure, and reliable access to centralized information,
and meets the security requirements demanded by HIPAA."
"Our solution allows medical providers and staff to securely and
easily extend medical information to any Internet-connected location,
without touching the remote PC," said Reggie Best, president and
CEO of Netilla Networks. "It's an excellent extranet solution,
one that is particularly well suited for the health care marketplace."
