LAS VEGAS and SOMERSET, N.J., May 7, 2002
Netilla Networks, Inc. (www.netilla.com), the networking services company
that supplies secure remote access to applications, files and data over
the Internet, today announced that it has joined the RSA Secured
Partner Program to support interoperability between the Netilla Security Platform and RSA SecurID® authentication technology.
As part of the program, the Netilla Security Platform has been awarded
"RSA Secured RSA SecurID Ready" certification signaling its
compatibility with RSA Security's authentication technology. The RSA
Secured certification lets organizations know that the Netilla Security Platform is compatible with RSA Security's market-leading security products
and technologies.
Netilla Security Platforms are secure remote networking appliances based
on Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and other Web technologies that
enables browser-based access to legacy Windows, UNIX/Linux, mainframe
as well as native Web applications in the data center. Unlike software
or middleware-based networking approaches that require extensive integration
and significant ongoing maintenance, a Netilla Security Platform is a
practical, quick-to-deploy and simple-to-manage solution that lowers
the total cost of ownership of secure remote access implementations.
"We are excited to welcome Netilla Networks to the RSA Secured
Partner Program," said Jim Bandanza, vice president of sales operations,
business and partner development at RSA Security. "Our strategic
partner program is one of the most aggressive and successful in the
industry, and we look forward to working with Netilla Networks to help
deliver secure e-business solutions to our customers."
"Security is a key component of the Netilla Security Platform,"
said Reggie Best, Netilla Networks CEO and President. "The integration
of RSA SecurID two-factor authentication and RSA ACE/Server® 5.0
software compatibility into our platform bolsters our security offering
with a comprehensive, two-factor authentication solution. The RSA Secured
Partner Program, which represents the leaders in delivering proven security
solutions to organizations, allows us to further meet the strict security
requirements of our customers in the healthcare, finance and professional
services areas."
